The purpose of this April 2018 presentation at the Women and Minorities in Technology Conference is to:

• share with the participants the ways in which experience in traditional non-technical careers can be transformed into hot data analytics and cyber security careers;

• provide information on free resources for entering and maintaining a rewarding cyber security and/or data analytics career;

• explain the process for analyzing which free resources are right for each participant based upon personalized goals and time targets; and

• demonstrate the diversity of entry points toward the cyber security field. These include data analytics, information technology, compliance, and investigations.
