US ED Earns D FITARA Score

FITARA is an acronym for Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act. “ FITARA was enacted to improve the federal government’s IT capabilities and enhance the authority of each agency’s CIO to make IT related decisions” [1, para 3]. On May 2016, the U.S. Department of Education received an overall score of ‘D’ for its efforts to implement FITARA.
